Attention:

As of last week, there have been confirmed cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in Nebraska. In response, Meadowlark Pointe is prepared to handle any suspected or confirmed cases, but is asking for the communities help in preventing the spread.
Given their congregate nature, assisted-living facilities are among the highest risk of being affected by COVID-19. Because COVID-19 seems to be spreading easily and sustainably in some affected areas, we are discouraging visitation at this time. Help us protect our residents by following these simple preventative guidelines:
*Stay at home if you are not feeling well.
*Avoid close contact with people that are sick.
*Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
*Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to
the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing. (If soap
and water is not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60%
alcohol. Always wash your hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.)
*Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household spray or wipe.
If it is imperative that you visit a resident at Meadowlark Pointe, we ask that you call ahead (308-784-4100) so we might update you on any new developments.
Preparedness and actively performing good health habits can and will help us all prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our community. Meadowlark Pointe, along with Cozad Community Health System is prepared for COVID-19, but we cannot stress enough, the importance of limited visitation to our residents. Their health and well-being are of the utmost importance to us, so we appreciate your understanding in the steps we are taking to prevent the possible spread of COVID-19.
Cozad Community Health System is also partnering with Two Rivers Health Department to track COVID-19 and ask if you have traveled or feel you have been exposed, please self-report to Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services at http://cip-dhhs.ne.gov/redcap/surveys/?s=JKHEPR4DPR or Two Rivers Public Health Department at 888-669-7154.
Sincerely,
